On the face of it, this Solid Oak Bedroom Range, comprising Oak Chests of Drawers, Oak Blanket Boxes, Oak Bedside Tables, Oak Dressing Tables and Oak Wardrobes, is a modern furniture design in superior quality with most items supplied fully assembled.

But then, please have a closer look. There are many reasons why this solid oak bedroom furniture provides much more value that just the good looks and top quality.

Will I have enough space in drawers?

The drawers are deeper than standard drawers in this type of furniture, and most of these oak chests of drawers come with one or more double depth drawer.

All drawers run on Wooden runners to ensure reliability and also have a built-in Drawer stop. And of course all drawers are dovetail jointed.

Will my furniture be fit for flexible use?

We have looked at what alternative functions each piece of Solid Oak Furniture may have, and built in multiple functions whenever possible. For example, the Solid Oak Dressing Table, which can have the drawers on the left or right, can also be used as a small desk, and the top drawer is prepared to be a mouse drawer.

In addition, all the narrow drawers are deliberately dimensioned to accommodate perfect DVD storage.

We have been causing lifted eye brows from designers and manufacturers who have looked at our design. It’s too expensive, they say. We can save pennies and pounds in many areas of this design and it will hardly be noticeable, they say. But we had a choice, since all middlemen are cut out – even the designer: We could create a range of really cheap furniture, - or we could use the savings to create a range, which is superior in quality to most, if not all, competing products. One important feature is the lacquered finish. This furniture goes through the whole finishing process twice, to give it perfect protection. There is no maintenance required.

Will my new Solid Oak Furniture maximise my limited space?

All the Utah Solid Oak wardrobes come with two hanging rails per section. But you can also buy a shelf pack and kit the bottom half of a wardrobe compartment out with shelves. Or you can have adjustable shelves from top to bottom. Soon, there will be Wardrobe Top Boxes available as well.

Chests of Drawers come in three widths: 404 mm, 692 mm, 980 mm or 1268 mm, and 4 heights: 658 mm, 846mm, 1034 mm and 1222 mm. So there should be a suitable Oak Chest of Drawers for an awkward space.

That all sounds expensive…

Not at all! The Utah range of Solid Oak Furniture is priced in competition with the cheapest Solid Oak Furniture in the market, whilst offering features and functionality usually only found in much more expensive furniture. We have achieved this by cutting all middle men out, right from the initial idea, through the design stage to wholesale and manufacturing.
