Here at OAKEA we are in a very unique position. We have a small group of knowledgeable staff, a large warehouse holding our own oak furniture stock, and our own delivery drivers and vans. Your order won’t get lost between offices or in the IT system, you can even speak to the same person each time you call.   

Our MD Henrik started OAKEA in 2004, Henrik still works in the Hereford showroom and warehouse. Henrik designs and specifies all the OAKEA exclusive ranges, from the smallest pine stool through to the biggest oak sideboard, Henrik makes sure we always have furniture in stock, and oversees the smooth running of the whole process from your first enquiry to your delivery.


Our sales and marketing manager Anna is here to make sure that everything on the website is up to date, so that you have all of the information you need to make the right choice for your furniture.
Everyone at OAKEA can take your order and answer any questions you may have, but whether you order over the phone or online, once you’ve made your choice your order will go to our operations manager Ian.

Marc plans the delivery schedule.  We undertake our own deliveries so it’s very important for our operations manager to keep the delivery schedule up to date and include any information relevant to the delivery. Because we have a human being, not a computer, planning deliveries it makes it very easy if you have any special circumstances. The operations manager can work around you if you don’t need the furniture yet, or if your house is hard to find. The operations manager will always book a delivery in with you over the phone, and will give you a time slot.


We don’t require payment up front, even if you  paid by card while ordering we won’t process your payment until you’re ready for delivery, that way you keep your money for as long as possible and only pay when you’re ready for your goods.



Once your delivery is booked in and our delivery route planned, our drivers (John and Lewis), lead by Operations Manager, Marc,  will jump into action in the warehouse.  They will pick your goods, load the vans, check we have the right details for you.  Ian will make sure the drivers know where to go and who to deliver to.

Once the van is on the road you can expect a call from your delivery driver before he gets to you to make sure you are ready.  We could tell you how helpful and polite they are, but you can have a read of all the lovely things that our customers have to say about our drivers on Trustpilot.

Then it’s over to you – you can enjoy your oak bedroom or oak dining furniture for many years to come.
